How do I set the picture for my projects?
Pictures in the Projects section work a little bit differently than pictures in the Yarn and Pattern sections. There isn't a button for selecting a picture for your project like there is in the other sections; instead, KnitMinder uses the most-recent photo from the project's logbook as the project picture. The idea is that you will always see the most recent state of your project, assuming that you're tracking your progress with the logbook and adding pictures as you go.
If you aren't actively using the project logbook but still want a picture next to your project, you can simply add a single logbook entry that contains the picture you want. Here's how to do that:
- Select the project from the project list.
- Touch the "logbook" button under the project. The Logbook screen will appear (and it may be empty if you haven't used the logbook yet).
- Touch the plus button at the top right of the screen to create a new logbook entry. The Edit Logbook Entry screen will appear.
- Touch the Options button at the top right of the screen to see the logbook entry options. A list of buttons will pop up from the bottom of the screen.
- Touch the "Select Photo" or the "Take Photo" (iPhone only) button and choose a photo for your project.
- Once you're done, use the button at the top left of the screen to back out to the project list again. The photo you selected will be displayed next to the project.
