Quilt2Go donates at least 10% of the proceeds from application sales to animal rescue charities. We get paid by Apple roughly once a month, but because the amounts are still relatively small, we are sending donations in quarterly. Keep an eye on the main page of the web site for up-to-date information about donations.

Total donations to date: $725

Let us know if you have a preferred animal rescue or education charity!

January 2010

We made an unscheduled donation of $250 to the William J. Clinton Foundation to support relief efforts following the earthquake in Haiti.

December 2009

Wrapping up 2009, we donated to The Rabbit Haven, a nonprofit house rabbit rescue group based in our area. Heather and I have worked closely with the Haven for several years now and have adopted one of our house rabbits from them, so the group is special to us. They also really need the funds this time of year to help with medical and housing expenses for the bunnies.

September 2009

Our 3Q2009 donation went to Best Friends Animal Society of Kanab, Utah. Heather and I have been fortunate enough to visit the sanctuary and volunteer at the bunny house during a recent vacation in the southwest. It is truly amazing what these dedicated people can get done: they take in hundreds of dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, horses, and more who would otherwise be euthanized and give them a lifelong home.

June 2009

HRSHRS Our first donation of $100 went to the The House Rabbit Society Emergency Rescue Grant fund in June of 2009. We have four house rabbits ourselves and volunteer with a local rabbit rescue group, so this was a natural choice for us. The Emergency Rescue Grant provides funds to animal rescue groups and shelters when they are faced with situations where large numbers of house rabbits need to be removed from a dangerous situation, housed, fed, and treated for medical conditions.
